Today, visitors can explore the awe-inspiring ruins, including the impressive columns that stand tall as a testament to the site’s grandeur.

Not an ancient landmark, Altinkum Beach is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, so it is worth a mention. Its name translates to “Golden Sand,” and true to its name, the beach boasts soft, golden sands and crystal-clear waters. Stretching along the coast, Altinkum Beach offers a variety of water sports and beachside activities, a great spot to relax and soak up the sun, or be energetic. For history enthusiasts, the Ancient Miletus City, in the valley of the Büyük Menderes River, was once a great port city and is a must-visit landmark in Didim.
